How can I participate in an Election Commission (polling station)?
Contact the Departmental Election Commission of your Department to obtain this information.
 
Where do I have to vote?
The Electoral Roll is still being purge; this is why polling places will be announced in the coming weeks. During August you can look up where do you have to vote through different media.

If I am registered in a municipal district different where I currently reside,can I vote on my current municipal district of residence?
You can only vote in the municipal district where you are registered.
 
Do I need my physical electoral registration ticket to vote?
You need to know your electoral roll number to be able to vote or know your voting center, the physical electoral registration is not necessary.
 
What do I need in order to votein the General Elections, and the Central American Parliament 2015?
To vote you need to:
-Present your Personal Identification Document (DPI, for its acronym in Spanish)
-    Be registered and know your electoral registration number or your voting center.
You do not need to take your electoral registration ticket. Remember that the citizen registers only once.
 
When are the elections?
On Sunday, September 6, 2015, and in case there is the need for a second round,this would take place on Sunday, October 25, 2015.
 
Can I still register or update my data?
The Electoral Roll by legal mandate was closed on June 6, 2015, if you have not yet registered you can do it but you cannot vote during the elections 2015. If you have not updatedyour data and you were registered you can vote with the data that was already registered.
 
How can I report an electoral offence?
You can report electoral offences at any office of the Public Prosecutor's Office or the National Civil Police. (The Public Prosecutor´s Agency against Electoral Crimes will be responsible for follow-up the persecution and prosecution).

-    Coercion of the Elector (art. 407 c Penal Code)
-    Voter Fraud (art. 407 DCriminal Code)
-    Violation of the Secrecy of the Vote (art. 407 E Criminal Code)
-    Concealment, retention, and illegal possession of a document that proves citizenship (art. 407F Criminal Code)
-    Abuse of Authority with Electoral Purpose (art. 407 GCriminal Code)

Can I vote with my DPI if in the past elections I voted with my Identity Card?
Yes, you can vote with your DPI, even though you have voted with your Identity Card in the past elections. Also you can vote with your DPI, although you have not updated your data
 
Can I get my electoral registration number electronically?
You can get your electoral registration number electronically (web page, App, etc.) or by telephone from August.

How can I participate as a Civic-electoral volunteer?
You can askin the nearestDelegation of the TSE (Supreme Electoral Tribunal) or call to the phone number 2251 - 0621, if you want to participate you need to:
-    Be Guatemalan
-    Be between the ages of 15 to 25 years
-    If you are of legal age you must be registered
-    Present your DPI
-    Not be affiliated to any political organization
